Luna the loyal Lamb

Luna the loyal Lamb

Luna was a happy little lamb who loved to explore the meadows with her friends.

Luna had soft, white wool and always did a friendly BAAA.

“BAAAA”

Luna’s best friend was a friendly little mouse, Max. Together, Luna and Max did all the silly crazy things in the barn and went on fun adventures.

One sunny morning, Luna and Max were playing Hide and Seek in the barn.

“I’ll count and you hide,” Luna said.

Max ran to hide somewhere.

“1,2,3.. I am coming Max,” Luna called out.

When Luna opened her eyes, Max was nowhere to be seen.

She checked in the cupboard, Max wasn’t there.

Not under the table.

Not behind the chair.

Not outside the barn.

“Max, where are you?” Luna called out.

Luna started to worry. In panic, she rushed out to the meadows but Max wasn’t there as well.

“Max must be lost,” Luna whispered.

However, Luna was determined to find her friend. She ran through the tall grass, looking behind the bush. Suddenly, Luna saw something grey moving in the distance.

“Oh, there you are Max!” Luna shouted running towards it. But when she got closer, it was a rock.

“Silly me,” Luna chuckled at herself.

Luna kept looking, and before long she was trapped in the bushes.

“Oh no! She yelled out. She wiggled out and came out looking rather weird, wrapped in leaves and twigs.

Luna heard the slightest squeak as she continued to walk.

“Luna! This way, over here!” Max’s voice was heard!

Luna followed the sound and discovered Max caught in a little hole.

“Max, I found you!” Luna cried out.

Max tried to jump out but fell back.

“Max, don’t worry. I’ll get you out” Luna moved the pebbles.

Luna looked around for a tiny stick. She held it tightly so Max could hold on to it.

After some attempts, Max was finally able to climb out.

“You saved me,”  Max ran to hug Luna’s leg. “Max, you are my best friend. I couldn’t leave you alone,” Luna smiled.

The sun was going down and it was time to get back to the meadows. On their way back, Max and Luna rolled in the muddy puddles, they stumbled across the bushes and laughed at silly things. When they finally arrived in the meadow, their friends roared with joy.

“Luna found me!” With pride, Max exclaimed.

Luna grinned. “I promised I would, didn’t I? This is what friends do”

“This calls for a grand celebration,” Hedrig, the hedgehog announced.

That night they danced and sang songs to celebrate Luna’s bravery and her dedication for the friendship.

From that day onwards, Luna and Max continued to explore the meadow together, knowing that they could always count on each other. Luna’s loyalty and friendship taught everyone in the meadow the importance of helping friends in need.
