The Brave Little Zoomi

Zoomi the rat

Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a little mouse named Zoomi. Zoomi lived happily in his cozy burrow with his loving parents. But Zoomi had a friend named Timmy who was living in the nearby city and always tempted him, saying that life in the city is much easier than in the forest, with plenty of food and drink readily available. You sneak in here without telling your parents and have fun like me, said Timmy. Zoomi was a very simple and straightforward mouse.

“This is a very difficult task for me… I… I cannot do it,” Zoomi replied hesitantly.

“Hahaha! You’re always such a coward. Courage is necessary to live a good life. Look at the bravery with which I ventured out of there, and now the whole family wants to live like me,” Tommy boasted, puffing out his chest.

“I’ll try,” Zoomi said in a soft voice.

Zoomi thought that if he could stay there peacefully, his parents would also be happy. Then when he builds his own house, he’ll bring them there too. There are many problems here in the forest.

It 2’O clock in the morning, and Zoomi, deep in sleep, cast a glance at his parents and quickly slipped out.

“How are you, my friend? I can’t believe it’s really you,” Timmy said, astonished to see Zoomi. “I had such a hard time getting here. Without telling my parents, I came this far.”

“Zoomi’s eyes were moist.”

“Don’t worry. If you stay here for a few days, you’ll forget everything,” Timmy said, handing him a piece of cheese and putting another piece in his mouth. “Today, I’ll give you a tour of the entire house. You’ll see. Then slowly you can arrange your own food and drink.”

The next morning, Tommy, with cruelty, said something to Zoomi, who became worried.

Zoomi bowed his head and started eating the piece of bread that Tommy had brought from somewhere early in the morning.

“Everyone is sleeping right now. This is the best time when we can arrange our own food,” Timmy said, coming out of his small hole and taking him to a big house of humans.

“This is the kitchen! Here, we have to search for food,” Zoomi looked at the big kitchen in amazement.

“It’s nothing. If you see the kitchens of the city and the big houses, you’ll be more surprised,” Timmy said proudly. “But even after working hard, you people can never enjoy such delicious food.”

At the sound of a sigh, Timmy told Zoomi to keep quiet, so Zoomi started to wonder who was talking, me or Timmy.

.

.

“This is a girl, whose name is Alley! She is very afraid of me, aid Timmy”

“Mom: came from here, noise…” came the voice of Alley.

“This rat has put its tail in the nose of all of us.”

.

.

“But we roam freely in the jungle, earning our livelihood with freedom. This way, there is no need for theft,” Zoomi said. Both of them reached the bull through the forest, running.

“Hard work! Even after working hard, you can never get such delicious food,” Timmy said proudly. “But we roam freely in the jungle, earning our livelihood with freedom.”

“If you liked the jungle so much, why did you come here?” Timmy asked Zoomi, glaring at him. “Didn’t you say that you would come here?”

“Why did you believe me? If you were so good, why didn’t you tell your mom and dad before coming here?” Zoomi didn’t say anything to Timmy, who was distressed. He came here after leaving his mom and dad. Now he was treating him like this.

This will be the last evening of this dirty black rat in the house.” Alley said holding the bag tightly in her hand. Taking out a yellow book-like thing from the bag, Alley headed to the kitchen and looked for a place. she opened the book-like thing and put it in a place.

“I made a big mistake by calling you here. People like you live well in that ruinous jungle,” Timmy said with pride and left through the hole.

Only five minutes later, Zoomi rushed towards the kitchen in response to Tommy’s shouts.

“Save me! Save me, Zoomi!” Timmy was stuck to the book-like board. His hands and feet were like stuck glue. He was trying to wiggle, but he couldn’t.

“What is this? Timmy… try… try to move…” Zoomi couldn’t understand what to do or say.

At the same time, Alley’s voice full of happiness was heard by both of them.

“Mom! We succeeded. The glue book worked.”

The mouse got stuck. Timmy sometimes looked at Zoomi and sometimes at Alley who was clapping with joy. He now remembered every move that caused Alley and her family distress.

“Save me, Zoomi!” said Timmy, looking at him with pleading eyes.

Before Zoomi could respond, a voice came from the cat, startling both of them. Alley picked up Timmy along with the board and placed him in front of the cat.

“Zoomi! Forgive me. Run away to the jungle and always listen to your parents, no one can be more sincere than them,” Timmy cried, closing his eyes.

With the cat’s tongue licking its lips, Timmy was swallowed. Zoomi’s eyes filled with tears, and he quickly ran out of the house to go to the jungle to ask for forgiveness from his mom and dad.

From that day on, Zoomi promised himself to always be truthful and transparent with his parents. He knew that honesty built trust and made their bond even stronger. And so, Zoomi returned home, ready to share his adventures with his loving family, knowing that honesty was the best policy.
