Once upon a time, there was a little rabbit who loved to play with his friends near a stream every morning. They would hop and jump and have so much fun together. But one day, something scary happened.
In order to save his life, he spent all his energy and finally managed to save his life by crawling into the hollow trunk of a thick banyan tree. He became more worried. He ran away from the house and reached an unknown place and it was not possible to determine the direction of the house.
He was looking around anxiously when a kind voice came from the old banyan…!
Dear rabbit! Don’t panic, keep walking along the row of small trees on the right side, after some distance you will hear the sound of the river flowing, just run along the river, after one furlong you will reach this place. Where they used to play every day
The little rabbit listened carefully to the wise old banyan tree’s comforting words. With a grateful heart, he followed its instructions, walking along the row of small trees just like the banyan had said. But suddenly, he heard giggling and rustling up ahead. Peeking through the bushes, he saw some mischievous wild cats playing! Oh no! What was the little rabbit going to do now?
A cat, the same age as the little rabbit, said,Hey, little bunny! Come play with us!” But the rabbit, feeling worried, told them why he couldn’t. Hearing this, one of the kittens said, “The way you’re going is dangerous. It has scary dogs. Let me show you an easier way.” With a tricky smile, she pointed to another path through the bushes and said, “Go through those bushes, and you’ll reach the river near your home soon.”
The poor rabbit, thanking the cat, set off on the new path. But he didn’t know that this side was where the snakes lived. On the other side, the mischievous cat and her friends were very happy with their trick. But the wise cat didn’t like what they did. She told her friends, “Look, instead of helping the poor rabbit, you showed him a dangerous path. He might get caught by snakes, and then his parents will search for him everywhere.”
Remember! Helping the lost is a greatest virtue.
Upon hearing this, all the naughty cats felt ashamed and sorry for what they had done. The wise cat, recognizing how serious the situation is, quickly led the group of cats to rescue the little rabbit from the unexpected danger.
At a short distance, they saw that the poor little rabbit was surrounded by a snake. Seeing this, all the cats attacked the snake and chased it away. The brown cat consoled him and said, “Forgive us, this path does not lead to your destination.”
Come on, we’ll take you home,” said the helpful cats. They guided the little rabbit through the forest until they reached his house. The rabbit’s mom, dad, and all his friends were worried sick about him. But when they saw him coming home safe and sound with the cats, they were overjoyed! They thanked the cats with all their hearts for saving their little friend. After that, everyone went back home happily, feeling grateful for each other’s kindness.
Lesson Learned:
So, what we learn from this story is that helping others and being kind is super important. Even if we make a mistake, like those naughty cats did, we can still do good things to make up for it. And when someone helps us, like the kind cats helped the little rabbit, we should always say thank you and be grateful. Being nice to others and saying sorry when we’re wrong can make everyone feel happy and safe.
