The Squirrel and the Acorns

One sunny morning, a little squirrel named Pip was busy collecting acorns. He found a big pile under a tree and thought,

“If I hide all of these, I’ll have more than anyone else!”

So Pip carried the acorns and buried them in secret. But he was so greedy that he forgot where he hid most of them.

When winter came, Pip could not find his food. He went hungry while other squirrels shared their nuts and stayed warm together.

When his friend offered him a few acorns, Pip felt grateful and said,

“Next time, I’ll collect to share — not to boast.”

Moral: Greed makes you lose what you already have.
